All individuals who have earned the CUSP credential are required to pay an annual maintenance fee of $130 toward maintaining their CUSP. Non-payment of this required annual maintenance fee will result in revocation of your CUSP credential.
The payment covers from the month & day you earned your CUSP up to one year. For example: If you earned your CUSP credential on 2-12-15, your CUSP maintenance fee would expire on 2-11-16. You have the option to pay for one year for $130 or for two years for $260. The CUSP maintenance fee is due annually but your continuing professional development points are due every two years from your certification date.

Re-certification demonstrates that you are expanding your utility safety knowledge, committed to professional development to prepare you and your organization for the future, and keeping current on changing utility safety regulations, best practices and innovative ways to build and maintain a strong safety culture.
Green CUSP's – are required to earn 40 CUSP points over a two-year period.
Blue CUSP's - are required to earn 30 CUSP points over a two-year period.Download the CUSP Points Request Form, fill out as completely as possible and submit the form and documentation by email to Catherine@usoln.org or by fax to 815-425-6305.
